Westpoint Island, the Falklands

Day 3: January 15th

"We were taken ashore, and I got a ride across the island in the Napier's Land Rover, to a colony of Black-browed Albatross and Rockhopper Penguins. It was an incredible sight, thousands of each species coexisting amicably. There were both Albatross and Penguin chicks, the former still on their nests. There was an occasional Skua circling overhead, as well as a Striated Caracara."
